Default Skype is Preloaded? Globe and Mail Article

Many of the big names are here: Angry Birds, Skype, the New York Times and the Globe and Mail (I have to mention that one). Twitter and Facebook apps come pre-loaded.

No, Skype isn't pre-loaded, it is there.

I think it says Facebook and Twitter are preloaded.

The others are downloadable. If you want Angry Birds, you gotta buy it. It does mean skype is available at launch though. G&M also isn't preloaded.

Gotcha - I missed the period there after "Globe and Mail (I have to mention that one)"

all the little 'glitches' and annoyances mentioned in this article make me glad it isn't releasing in the states for a month.
blackberry would get killed in the media.
right now, the press is raving about the Z10, and blackberry has time to find, and correct these oversights before they make the american shores.
hopefully it is 100% polished by then.

Really good article - since it matches my opinion, of course! <g>

    Blackberry "didn't screw it up".

Now let's wait and see what the real reactions of the consumer market is, followed by the enterprise market. With this launch it seems Blackberry has bought themselves some time and some "potential" relevance. All they have to do is market it like he11 and get those bugs fixed and gaps plugged. I think the foundation has been laid, but they still need to take advantage of it.
