If it is true, that is very great news. Alec Saunders and his team have done an excellent job getting developers aboard the BB10 platform.

But I do think the story is credible, as I remember reading a few days ago that RIM CMO, Frank Boulben confirmed that the BB10 platform at launch will support 90% of the top 600 apps on the ios and android platforms.

Exactly. LOL at @BlackberryScoop. Came on these boards acting like he was an insider at RIM, and then gets caught rehashing fake info as legit, then never is seen from again. People take anything said over the interwebz as legit WAY too easy nowadays.

While not as conclusively discredited, that twitter account was generally a mix of random guesses and collating plausible rumours from the various blogs and clearly nothing to do with Rim itself.

Just got her yesterday. 100 years old and working great. Need a new stem, but that's it. Movement itself is working great and keeps good time. Would have to agree @blackberry scoop has not been this reliable.
