What's up with this??? The phone was just out a month ago and then they lowered it by $50 with 3-year contract already!!!! Price skimming should be made illegal!

BlackBerry Z10 falls to $99.99 on a 3-year at Rogers, Bell and Virgin | MobileSyrup.com

How??? Is this something that's only offered for the Z10 or any other phones too?

At a mall here in Hamilton, they just opened a new Telus store. Until the end of the month, they are offering $100 of ANY phone including Z10, plus bring in any old blackberry for trade in and they will give you another $50 off.

So basically, you get a Z10 for free.

OMG. This is the first time in history that a device has been offered for a different price! Get the pitchfork and torches...

Is this your first time at being an "early adopter"?

Lol I paid $200 + $36 upgrade fee and another $15/month for a new data plan. ATT now only offers 3 data plans. Granted it's only a 2yr contract, but still pricey.

Cheemo - CE dude. I have another month to wait before I can purchase my phone. Maybe the cost will be lowered further.

It was $89.99 from Bell for the first several weeks. I fail to see the Ops point or issue.

This happens all the time, it's nothing new. If you want the newest and best phone, you'll pay a premium. If you wait, you'll save some cash.

They aren't in business to do us any favors, they're in business to make money.

I paid $499 for my PlayBook the day it came out and 6 months later it was selling for $149 and even as low as $99 on sale but I had it and used it for moths and loved it...was I a little upset...sure who wouldn't be...but if you want it first you are willing to pay more...if you want to pay less for your Z10 wait for the Z11 and I am sure you could get it for under $50. I will be in line at ATT to pay my $199 for it on Friday and could care less what the cost is next month.or next year or even next week for that matter.

Early adopters are always going to pay more. Some people are perfectly happy with their 9930 and will wait until necessity or self indulgence dictate.

So is spending $600 on a phone.

The chance that I want to cancel my phone number in the next three years is low, I'm not worried about contracts.

My concern here is if this price reduction is a sign of slow sales...

It is because IPHONE 5 on sale for 99.99 on Telus and Bell, so blackberry has to compete keep the price close or similar to competition.

According to Rogers its a limited time offer. Why do people constantly look for something to hate on just to try and cover their asses.

It does suck a bit, just paid $149 for my and the wifes Z10 on Rogers last week. And that was with a "mail in rebate" guess it's the price we pay for being impatient :-/

I paid 0$ at Rogers for mine because I complained, that's how it works at Rogers .. Or at least that's how I got mine. A bit shady, but that's how they do business I guess?
