RIM CEO Thorsten Heins considering options of selling RIM
RIM CEO Thorsten Heins commented on the company’s future, saying that they were considering options such as selling off their hardware production branch and licensing out their software, but noted that discussion of final decisions was premature as RIM is interested in seeing how the BlackBerry 10 OS and the Z10 handset fare on the market.

I think it's been just over a year since we first heard exactly the same thing. Nothing new here.

People need to stop breaking each interview down by every sentence and creating a rumour thread for each them.
This clearly twists words with the title and content.
It is a thinly veiled attempt to make anyone taking a quick glance believe that RIM is interested in selling itself right now.Phones:Nokia 5110>Nokia 3360>Siemens C56>Moto RAZR>LG Chocolate>Pearl 8100>Bold 9000 > Bold 9900 >Z10 > Aristo

RIM will not be sold in 2013. There's no way with the amount of effort they've put into BB10.
To all the people who said RIM would be dead or sold before BlackBerry 10 makes it to market...suck it.Remember to RTFM.Thanked by:Bold_until_Hybrid_Comes (01-27-2013)

I heard Thorsten Heins was going to sell his used underwear on eBay.... oh, and was considering a sale of the hardware manufacturing arm of RIM.
I think both are just rumours though.Z10 running 10.1 on Virgin Mobile Canada, PlayBook 64 GB
