Wow great work guys, I've been following this since the weekend but was skeptical about it being a hoax and still was earlier today. Minded you I know nothing about coding I've just seen many a hoax online. I was starting to soften to the idea today bit with Crackberry contact with them and more videos I'm a believer now. Great work! I'm excited to see how this all plays out with Apple and the question of this ever being released. Exciting times ahead, indeed.

Nicely done. Soon the iOS community will pick up on the news and start trashing the PlayBook, "look, it doesn't even do the maps properly." Haha.
Nice bit of hackery dude, keep up the great work. Maybe RIM will give you a job actually doing something useful over there :P100PROOF - Marketing & Design

Its about time people come off the notion that "RIM is doing nothing" just because a hacker created an emulator for IOS.
The playbook that i have... Can more than hold its own against any tablet on the market...It just needs support. RIM might be slow but they certainly arent "not doing nothing"
QNX is their testimony... The only platform on the market that can run three different OS!
And thats only in the playbook sphere...
Html 5? Mobile fusion? Best when it comes to security? OS 7 was pretty decent if you ask me. Just because they not giving you an app for everything doesnt mean they havent been doin stuff....
Back to the topic already.......so as u were saying Cat, u managed to get IOS apps* running on the playbook... Interesting, very ingenius. How did APPLE not see that coming.

Cheers to the OP.... Impressive effort... hope something comes of it... One of the reasons I love BB is it is "fun" to timker with.... this is a great example of timkering at it's finest....

A few thoughts,
1) The best thing this is doing is generating the needed buzz around QNX and BB10, even if Cat doesn't tell us what his intension's are. Or Apple stops this attempt. It's as good as closing the barn door after the horse has left the building. Its out there.
2) this is a bigger tease than watching striper's through a plexy glass wall. Come on Cat, brother whats your plans.
3) I cant wait to tell people that, "ahem" IOS, Iphone, BB10 has an App for that!!!!

I wouldn't say that it would've been "tens to hundreds of thousands of lines of code," the demos all seem to be OpenGL games that don't seem to use UI APIs, and are unlikely to use a lot of API integration.
I'd love to see an application ported that uses the iOS for GUI layouts, and API calls to core system services (such as notifications, the stock apps, background application manager, etc)Blackberry 10 > Windows Phone 7/8 > Blackberry 7 > iOS > Android > Symbian > WebOS > Meego - 06-13-2012, 12:35 AM #166
haha EPIC! So I'm expecting something on the lines of 'Skype in your face now' but i doubt if that's going to happen..

If you ask me, I will make 200 mirrors of this software and then make sure that apple can kiss their a** trying to track it down.
If it were to be released. What's setting you down?!
