Well guys, I believe the developer has abandoned his code name (businesscat2000) and has created another one to monitor this thread. I also believe I know who he is. Private message me for more info.

This thread
I keep checking this thread in hopes that one day mr. businesscat will come back and say "here guys" and bam, there'll be a fully functional program that takes an apple app and spits out a compatible blackberry app. Really the only reason I'm waiting for it too is for the chance to take alien blue and a handful of other apps and run it on my playbook. I could care less about the billion of apps in the app store. If you're out there businesscat, know that we do indeed await your reply.

I don't think he can legally do this. most likely this will be rolled into the BB10 SDK

I wonder if Microsoft would let BB10 be compatible with Windows 8 apps.

I was wondering since launch when this thread would rear it's ugly head again! Can we get the OP out of retirement for BB10

We still don't know what happened to him, but I'm pretty sure either RIM or Apple got to him. If it was the former, expect to see an easy method to port iOS apps once Blackberry works out the code and legalities. If it's the latter, than don't hold your breath.
Still, it would be nice to know which one...Blackberry 10 > Windows Phone 7/8 > Blackberry 7 > iOS > Android > Symbian > WebOS > Meego - 02-08-2013, 06:38 PM #361

I know this is an old thread, but I must add, if this kind of emulation is possible, you can bet a full port of iOS running on SnapDragon is entirely possible. It's all ARM code and some tinkering. Heck they got Hackintosh working didn't they? It's mainly kernel work and some device drivers to start talking.

I am surprised the thread died. It generated quite a buzz when it was posted. It is also surprising nobody has duplicated the feat.
