So I heard through the "grapevine" that there was work being done at Counterpath to create a SIP VOIP client for BB10. I thought I'd put that to the test and email them the other day...

Can you tell me if you are developing a VOIP client for Blackberry 10 OS?
I’d be very much interested in purchasing Bria or equivalent.

Currently we are working on a client for the Blackberry operating system. This new client will be available sometime early to mid 2013.

Counterpath CounterPath Corporation | Home makes what might be the most popular free softphone (X-Lite). I think the BB10 client will be Bria which is a paid app available for Windows/Mac/iOS/Android. This is great news for people who wish to connect to business SIP enabled office PBX systems, and consumers using various SIP services available.
