Pandora for Blackberry
I just saw this when I woke up this morning, but now it seems that we can finally have Pandora; however, this is not a native application for the Storm or for T-Mobile customers. Just go to Pandora and you'll see a Blackberry option.

When I am listening to music and I get an SMS message, the player stops playing and eventually starts the next song. Anyone else get this?

This app is nice. It stops when you have something incoming, and just goes back to playing music. Such a smooth and sexy app.

Pandora BlackBerry App Launches, Doesn’t Work on Storm
Downsides are a-plenty, however: no Storm support and no love for T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) users. - 03-19-2009, 07:04 AM #11
Lol. I am able to listen to Pandora and surf the intertubes from my BB Curve. This is all I need now.

Awesome, now I can listen to the same 8 songs over and over again on my phone (too)
Iron boots, we're walking tall
With pride we'll walk all over you
Steel grip, we'll hold you down
On a leash, we're coming through

Unless you have the most generic taste in music possible or seed your channels with artists from all over the musical spectrum, Pandora's song lists end up proving to be relatively short. For instance, I seeded a channel with a single band (VNV Nation) and let it do it's thing. The first song was repeated 4 times throughout about 5 hours. Other songs were repeated as many or more times. It also came up with some of the most random "connections"

So I've noticed when I get a BB message the song pauses then it skips to a new one...does this happen to anyone else?
Not a big deal just curious if it does. - 03-25-2009, 08:37 AM #24
Pandora/Data Usage
When opening Pandora it says:
Data Usage Warning
This product will use a large amount of data and you are responsible for all data charges. Please contact .... to confirm/ add an unlimited data plan.
If I am paying $29.99/mo, am I unable to use such applications without incurring extra charges? I thought the $45/mo was only for "corporate users."
Clarification please?CURVE 8330 until further notice (....like when Verizon releases the Niagara...)
