OK, this is great! Still don't see it on their website but hopefully this is for real. The live launch is going OK so far. Relying a little too much on Thorstein who is pretty wooden but the concepts are there. Just not sure how it is translating to those that are not familiar with BB10. The keyboard, typing, picture editor and movie maker are all very neat and seem to be easy to use. It looks great but I am already committed. My wife, a BB user is not interested in the least in the new tech. She will stick with her "9900" for now. She won't use 10% of the new features and I will have to pry it from her hands and convince her to use BB10.

I think it is a game changer, but will have to see how it is accepted in the marketplace.

Too expensive. They'll make an extra $500MM in sales if they do well with this pricing, but they'll have to spend more than that in marketing to get there.

Considering there was speculation of the price being $800 (no plan), $650 (no plan) ain't half bad. $599 would be better but meh, I'm not going to complain about $50.

Well, it won't be available in the U.S. until March.
It will be $100 more than I am willing to pay off contract.
    White is exclusive to Verizon.

All the excitement I felt this morning is out the window.

Isn't it amusing how people who claim to not enjoy CB at all simply can't stay away???? It's because it's CRACKBERRY, the BEST BB site....

I'm not rich like you guys and I thought the 149.00 for 3 years was a good price. I was expecting over the 200.00 price range on a contract. I know 3 years is a long time, but it is the only way I can see myself holding one. Order has been placed!!!

Would my SIM card from my 9800 work in the Z10, or do I have to buy a new one as well? The Telus page states a new SIM has to be bought for 2-3 year contracts.

I think it uses micro sim card so the one in your 9800 won't fit.

I just ordered a Z10 from Telus, it was a pain in the a$$. First I wanted to buy it outright, and called out corporate account manager at Telus. He said he couldn't do it as it was not on their system yet and I had to go to the online ordering page? They have it online for consumers but corporate accounts have to wait? So I then went to the online page, could not see how to just buy it outright, so I'm paying $149.00 plus $250.00 since my 9860 is still under contract, no big deal. I then requested that it be unlocked as I travel a lot and like to get a local sim. No go with this either, they refuse to unlock a phone until you've had it for 90 days, then charge $50.00?? I'm leaving on a trip to Belize on Feb 11th and want to take it with me, I'm sure it will be the first Z10 in the country :-) I sure hope I can find a place to unlock the Z10 before I leave. My new black (wanted white but don't want to wait until the 11th. If anyone knows who is unlocking Z10's I'd love to know.

I've already gone to two stores, and they both told me that for at least the first two weeks, they're not selling them outright, only to customers either renewing or starting a new contract. Now that's a pain in the ***, and what a way to treat current customers...

    Swtich to Verison No issues.....

In Canada, you can move from carrier to carrier while keeping your telephone number. Is it the same in the US?

    We'll start a collection. I'll donate the 1st $1. You just need 99 more and you're set :P
