Default New AT&T Dates

According to my source at AT&T, the new Curve release date for the 8310 is 10/9/07. He said that that is pretty firm.

As long as it comes out this week. My boyfriend said he's going to buy me one (he wants one too but he can't upgrade until next year... I can upgrade now) so I need to drag him to the AT&T store over the weekend if I can.

There was a post on BGR's comment section from someone claiming to be with AT&T that the date is slipping back to 10/16 for release. Which totally sux - I'm ready to get one now (going on an extended road gig literally this Thursday and my Treo 700wx blows).

Now I'm hearing it's pushed back until 10/24. WTF? They've already released the 8310 elsewhere in the world.... what's the holdup?

nope. And another trip with my Treo 700wx -a.k.a. battery eating brick. Sure enough, 9 hours on the road total and it died. Not good when you are still in an airport trying to get to the hotel. I'm prying that 10/16 is the real date for the titanium - I've read as long as 10/24 for the crimson

Default 8310

What new features will the 8310 have? I just purchased the 8820. I do have 30 days to return it or exchange it. would you say the 8820 is a bit better than the 8310? Will the 8310 have WIFI or GPS?

The 8310 has GPS.

As much as I want the red one, I have no use for the GPS, so I'm about ready to just settle for the 8300 as I need a new phone bad.
