New Images of BB London
Nothing that we haven't seen before but probably one of the clearest image we have of the upcoming London device. I'm still on the fence about the icon design, especially the text message one. I really hope they get an update before launch.

"Navegador" should be the default name for the BlackBerry Maps, instead of a translation for Browser.

Re: New Image of BB London
The icon pictures look better on the PBOS, I wouldn't be surprised if these are just place holders. With RIM spending so much time refining the software, I'm sure they'd spend some time on using better pictures.

Re: New Images of BB London
First impression is everything and I have to say that UI looks boring...like iPhone boring. Not hating, just being honest. When/if people pick it up, that is going to be the standard...what does the UI look like. It may have all kinds of bells and whistles, but if you have to read a 30 page owners manual to figure out what those bells and whistles are, that's not a good thing. Android and iOS are too ingrained in the public right now for there to be a breakthrough OS. Unfortunately I see this phone going the route of the Playbook/Palm Pre and Blackberry going the route of Palm.

what are talking about 30 page manual???
A new user needs to know three gestures up/down, left/right, and a right angle. how does that seems complicated? on top of that the right angle is the only gesture not on phones right now.
quit making it sound like it's an owner's manual to your car.

Re: New Images of BB London
Is it just me or what??? does the bottom and toppart of the phone look like plastic?? Not glass...It kinda makes the phone look cheap
I hope I'm wrong cause I really want this phone but it has to have that premium look to it.

Re: New Images of BB London
on the topic of the icons, i don't really like them, but i don't hate them either. To me it doesn't really matter that much how it looks, since i only use them to launch the app itself, nothing more. I care more about the UI inside the apps more, and whether its intuitive to use.

Re: New Images of BB London
More and more it looks like those are the way the icons are going to be. Dont really care for that and i guess theming wont work either. Also the more i see the device the more it looks like a motorola razr m.

Re: New Images of BB London
RIM should provide an option to turn ON/OFF the transparency of the icon name. That shouldn't be built into the icon itself.
And they should have transparency left ON by default because I think most would find it looks better. - 10-14-2012, 06:29 PM #18

Re: New Images of BB London
Idk, I hope this isn't the final hardware ,which it most likely is. I also hope they change the icons ,they don't do the device any justice. They really need to go back to the drawing board. Id rather PlayBook icons and I've been looking at them over a year now.
Also would love a phone with the same finish as the PlayBook, but from what I read that's not possible because of nfc? shame
I waited...It launched...Im still waiting...

Re: New Images of BB London
i tend to believe Bla1ze when he says this is not the final UI, there is still a bit before BB10 is released and i'm sure RIM is working on the software and bugs right now while TAT builds up the UI before they put out the final version of BB10
