Unhappy My 8300 being left in the dust...

Since my 8300 was pretty new still when T-Mobile came out with the 8320, and I really didn't think I'd need UMA, I decided to hang out and wait for the "next big thing" to use my subsidy on, like a 9xxx whenever that might come out.

Frustrating, though, now because I can find 4.5.0.44 and now .46 for the 8310 and 8320 (and .46 for the 8100 and 8820 too!), but .42 is the latest I can find for the 8300...

All contributes to the feeling that the 8300 is being left in the dust...

Hoping to see a good production quality 4.5.x.x for the 8300 soon, so I can hang on until there's a good 9xxx for T-Mobile...

ps: please no more PM's asking for links - online search will help you find the same things I've found...

I think the reason you have not seen a beta OS for the 8300 is that the 8310 and 8320 do whatever the 8300 can do + the GPS and WiFi. Once RIN have made OS 4.5 work for the 8310 and 20, they get the 8300 OS 'for free'.

I am sure that when OS 4.5 is released you will have a nice surprise and a working OS.
