Leaked Pics of a New Phone ?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry for the really bad quality of these pics...they are screenshots from a video chat.
And Im not the source ,it's a secondhand rumor.
What is confirmed by the source:
It's a yet to be released Blackberry model.
This is not one of Chinese Knockoffs ,it's really Blackberry.
It is not a QNX phone confirmed by the source just now.
What is unknown:
A lot..
Personal Opinion:
1 I hate the nokia-keyboard and the damn-calculator-like back REALLY!!!
2 It should be run on QNX when released though it looks like on OS7 now.

That's not a BlackBerry. Dunno what it is, but it's not a BlackBerry.
The QNX phone is supposed to be touch only. The keyboard on the phone in the picture rules that out, plus the keyboard isn't a BlackBerry keyboard.
The other buttons look cheap and don't match the buttons RIM has been using forever.
Definitely not a BlackBerry.BlackBerry Torch 9810 - 7.1.0.190
BlackBerry PlayBook 32GB - 2.0.0.6149 - 08-28-2011, 08:05 PM #4
im calling fake.. most rumors have pointed to the first QNX phone to be full touchscreen because of the way QNX works.
and.. 1000% that is the ugliest phone ever. - 08-28-2011, 08:05 PM #5
Looks like a cheap Chinese knockoff of the Bold.
Def a fake. The first QNX phone will be touch screen only.RIM is dead. Long live BlackBerry! - 08-28-2011, 08:09 PM #6

Don't be silly. Look at the keyboard. That is enough to tell if it is fake or not...
EDIT: There, happy now? It's probably a knockoff of a Motorola phone. Gee, people these days...

First off the phone is so damn ugly
Second, the first QNX phone would be a touch screen device alone

As A voice Of Reason, it wouldn't be the first time a company disguised its proto types.
Seen is with snowmobiles, cars, even the iphone
Might be a protot type made fugly to test the internals in the real world...
Worst paint.net cropping i've ever seen...
But thanks for posting the pictures and links! Always good to be ahead of the curve with rumours and such.--- Sent From Mobile Device While on the Can! --- - 08-28-2011, 10:18 PM #18
Also, Don't take the rumours on BGR and Engadget about the all touch devices and post them as fact.
No one has a clue as to what the new QNX phones will look like

Such a fake! Rim manufactures their products in Mexico. With all the moonspeak (Asian language) written on the pictures you can tell right away its a cheap asian knock-off. Also the design should be a dead giveaway and if RIM put out a disguised prototype I have a feeling that their name "Blackberry" wouldnt be plastered on top of the phone. As seen with all disguised prototypes the make nor model names are present on them.

yeah who knows I agree with adrenaline..maybe it is a prototype and they are testing on a qwerty device and don't want any leaks this early, or at all.

It definitely looks fake. That would be a huge step back from their current designs.

The NEW QNX device in an Old BlackBerry
No, no, no, rumor has it RIM is simply going to take QNX and throw it into one of their OLD devices. See pics below as the OP's pics don't look too far off! LOL!
Yes it will be a fugly looking device but to make up for using new software in old hardware, rumor has it that RIM will have a new feature called "warp drive" and the "warp drive" button will do just that...warp you into another parallel universe. It will be right next to the "facebook" button (aka "start world riots here" button) so you can't miss it.
Well, based on this pic, at least the screen will be bigger! - 08-28-2011, 11:23 PM #23Need Help? lol honestly, why would this even be considered real in the first place. i mean, that style would be RIM stepping back to 1990. Took me .01 seconds to know that was fake lol
if it real then good god i hope they are just disguising it lolQNX and LTE, hand me a pen and let's do this.

An all-touch as the first device is the most logical approach, they would have less work to do in order to move the tablet os onto a phone and assuming it was in the 4.2-4.5" screen size range than the os7 phones could exist alongside it until subsequent qnx models showed up too.
