Lumia seems to have a brighter screen. Hmm.

well
we will have more notifications, not just email+facebook on our lockscreen
+ obviously a different wallpaper, quick-camera-access, time/date - what else do you want?
this wallpaper makes it look plain, that's all imo
and btw.. black+blue together almost never looks good : P

The L series looks classier imho than the 820, and the empty space is boon, folks can put more things in there.

you gotta keep in mind that appointments and up coming calendar events are usually shown on the lock screen as well. Which is why there is so much space open. Also room for my lock message that if found please email or call me

Really you want to do this green is more vibrant then navy and black basic art.
Anyway does'nt matter what L series is put next to now the phone will stand out period not even rainbow colours can mess with it the phone has its identity that much is clear.

Re: L-series vs Lumia 820 (pic)
people in the past have said that l-series looks very standard, and its hard to tell the difference between the l-series and an android etc, and maybe this is the case for some people still.
but having seen the l-series next to the iphone 5 and now the nokia, it really does look like a lovely device... It doesn't look standard at all to me, and does have a differentiated look..... and it is a sexy device.... the clearer the shots get, the nicer this phone is looking....
size wise, I'm glad they have gone for 4.2 (which is what I am assuming the screen size is when it was up next to the iphone 5)
bb10 is gonna look good on all of that screen! - 11-22-2012, 07:33 PM #20
I'm not really fond of the hardware on the L series. I know that this is a dev device but for someone like me who owns an iphone and an android device there is nothing about this phone that screams buy me. It may spark the interest of first time smartphone buyers but if I saw the dev alpha on display in a store I wouldn't think that it was a phone that just came out. I hope RIM has some gimmick or different colors to catch the attention of consumers who are used to buying high quality devices and not just hoping the OS will sell itself.

I saw this on instagram. The guy who posted this was replying to comments regarding the L-series and how it felt using it while he was testing it. He said it was very buggy. That kinda surprised me because BB10 has been in development for a long time(2 years if i'm correct). Why is it still significantly buggy in The 3rd week of November(70 days from launch)?
note: He said both of those were given to him for work/testing.
note2: He said L-series is dropping in January(he might have been referring to the launch).
EDIT: I hope that update proves to solve the bugs being experienced.Last edited by tre5tackz; 11-23-2012 at 12:19 AM. Reason: Read the source article.
