Default I hope RIM sees this post

RIM

You are a great company that has great ideas and devices. But PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE instead of getting so happy with sales figures and developing and dropping a ton of new devices out remember your humble beginnings..... Remember the old days.

Remember that you put out devices of superior quality. Focus on what made you guys famous, not the quantity of devices but the quality, both hardware and software.

Quality rather than quantity is the ticket.

Dear RIM, please stop making crap operating system software. Please stop developing hardware until you can make stable software. Thanks.

I think RIM should take the OP advice. We all want quality products.

agreed. quality > quantity.

also:

customer service/long-term relationships > immediate sales

quality? in such a big market? why? either way new ppl are gonna try BBs and old ppl, for the most part, will stay faithful. of course we all want quality, but in the end... we'll end up wanting their new devices even with shotty OSs and hardware issues... am i wrong?

Then why are there so many commercials on TV for so-called "male enhancement" products

Last time I checked RIM has made pretty good stuff, the storms OS is the only bad thing they have really screwed up. I think you should be grateful that RIM releases dependable and amazing devices.

new devices are designed with parts that are meant to fail after certain many cycles that have been calculated by t manufacturer of those parts. unless you buying military grade products.

the OS is the brain of the whole blackberry are you saying that its ok for RIM to make quality device and load underdeveloped OS on it?

heres the question for you then.
would you buy a car with a steering wheel that randomly freezes or the car that randomly dies while driving and you have to pull the car battery out to reset it in order to drive the car?
i dont think so.

Why don't you ask Ford and Chrysler that exact question...
