    Default Google phasing out free EAS support Question.

    Google is dumping Active Sync;
    Google phasing out ActiveSync push mail for free customers | Ars Technica

    Will this move by Google have any bearing on how the Playbook get's email and syncs calendars and contacts?

    no activesyn is Microsofts service, from what i gather is Android users want the push service they will have to pay the same way we as RIM gets service revenues

    If you are already using it on your PB, it will continue to work. If you aren't using it, and try to set it up after the cutoff date, you won't be able to.
