I just love how Thorsten Heins is always so calm and talks to you like an equal.
Not a lot of news, but a nice interview!

How do you know? He could have just said yes. Maybe there will be more....maybe not. Only TH and the executve team know.

2 hardware devices and the bb10 software package which is a product in and of itself. Then the remaining 4 devices at BB world in May, and possibly some info about the PB bb10 update.

Who wants to put some money down, say 10 bucks?

The more that I listen to Thorsten, the more I like him. He's so calm, composed and focused. He comes off as the type of guy that you'd want to work for and work hard for. He has been brilliant over the past year.

Though I wouldn't bet on it, I also wouldn't be surprised if a Slider were introduced. If you listen to the interview Thorsten was a little non-direct in his reponse to the QWERTY on the 30th question see starting at 10:35. That's when he makes his productS comment. He was very clear later on when asked specifically about Bold 9900 owners. It was almost as if he initially didn't want to say a traditional QWERTY device.

It would be awesome if there was a slider but maybe he doesn't consider the bold like phone a "traditional" qwerty device.

Maybe there are a bunch of things we don't know about it? I mean we have seen lots on the full touch phone but aside from 720x720 screen, keyboard and existence of keyboard shortcuts we don't know much about the keyboard phone.

I think that's what the iPhone 5 reveal so unexciting...So much was leaked before hand, no one was blown away. Everything shown off had already been leaked.

Hopefully RIM can keep it all under wraps and blow my pants off.

I think one of the problems with iPhone 5 leaks wasn't simply that everything was leaked but that what was leaked was not exciting to begin with, in my opinion. If a new and exciting feature was leaked, I'm sure people will still be excited to get that in their hands to play with. (even so, they still sold 5 mils worth of phone).

Yeah he changed his tune this interview. They need to come across as confident as if there would be no need for a plan B as BB10 will be a success.
