Default Dept of Defense Approves Android Handsets

I was certain someone would post this Pentagon approves Android device for Department of Defense, Apple still awaits clearance up today. ALso - not reported, 2 more 'A' list law firms in NY are leaving BES by February.

I can go on and on what this means, but anyone who is honest with themselves already knows.

This frightens me. Not for RIM's sake but for the sake of national defense. The security standards have really been lowered.

Has to have the android market stripped out, only 2.2, and only the Dell Venue is approved. So basically an Android phone with no access to apps. Aren't we told that Android is so great because of apps? Also running an older version of Android. Sounds like a lot of caveats are just being glossed over.
