Delhi, India Z10 Launch and SOLD OUT!!

Hey there kevin, Just wanted you and the CB team to know that we in India are Moving forward*
BB Z10 price launch was at 43000 (best buy) and yet all the Unites are sold out
I was Privileged enough to have been a part of the Z10 launch (brand ambassador sidekick if you will)
To Launch this Beauty of a Phone to the people of Delhi, India
We also made all the Major News papers( Hindi, English and various other languages)

Hope you can Post this on your site for some BB LOVE from India

So Pranav's post earlier in dog fight thread was correct that sold out 35k in first week and another shipment coming on Mar 5th..I can see over 100k sold within a month just in India.

Yes they will get their share of the deluxe handset market but BB7 is a problem. They DO need better cheap devices.

But here is a different view for Indonesia - Z10 will enhance the brand (Chinese too are VERY brand orientated)

To be successful BB needs to be both a high end and low end device seller.

another thread indicated that India sold out 35K in a day. it's completely plausible. from what i heard India has 2000 retail stores that sell BB. if each sold 17.5 Z10's each that's 35000 sold. possibly all in the first day too!
