A Curved/Rounded screen Blackberry is now completely possible

Samsung released at CES a prototype of a Samsung Phone running on Android that has a rounded off screen.
I don't think they're going to be necessarily rolling out a new phone with the curved display but rather showing that it is a possibility.

Well, maybe not since they are actually making use of the bezel, but if they didn't go that route, those concept phones would be amazing.

Curved screens existed prior to this year...pretty sure the Dell Venue Pro had a curved screen.

My nexus 4 even has a little curved glass with it on the sides. the screen on the galaxy nexus had an "arc" to it.

Now these designs do take it a step further but I'm still not sold on the usability factor yet.

Curving the screen onto one side of a device could be good, keep all your notification icons handily in view, but beyond that it seems a bit pointless.

Inevation has to start small. Now that the concept is proven who knows what some designer/engineer will come up with. Could be the next big thing

Eventually you could see some interesting stuff when the screens become tough enough to be unfolded and folded all the time, but before that it seems more like benefits would be minimal.
