Curve for Verizon?

Several months ago, a lot of people were bringing up the topic of Verizon getting the Curve for it's service. In that time however, Verizon has come up with nothing new, and still sell the 8830 World Edition. I also haven't heard any new news from people around the campfire. Does anyone have any updated information on Verizon possibly getting a Curve? My Treo 650 is begging to be thrown out (useless brick) but I want the Curve!

Better head to AT&T or T-Mob, no news on a curve for VZW/Sprint so far, but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting that for sure.

Took about a year for the 8830 and 8130 to appear so I would expect about the same for the Curve. Not sure I get the comment "still sell the 8830", that's a pretty new phone for them and very popular.

My hook ar Verizon said to look for a new BB device (most likley the curve) first quarter of 08.

Just switched from Verizon (Treo 700wv) to ATT (Blackberry Curve)....I'm a happy camper now. My Treo was a piece of junk--constantly locking up and causing me to miss calls. On my way to being a Crackberry!~~~

I just ordered a curve from t-mobile on amazon.com. set to receive it on jan 3rd. Verizon couldn't offer what i wanted, so finally made the decision to switch.

I heard VZW will get the Curve some time late 1st quarter, but whith them could mean June or July...lol

Well whatever they do plan on hiccups in the process... We all know what Verizon considers progress on the blackberry front!
