It's not the "Dev Alpha B" we have already seen, because the screen is not sunken in... However, it looks terrible. This one, and the B are helluva ugly phones.

In all other respects it does look exactly the same as a dev alpha b, so maybe it is a slight change to the casing that they made after rim people had problems demoing things like swipe gestures due to the casing on the earlier dev alpha b devices.

It clearly isn't hardware that is going to be launched in any case, curve or otherwise, those devices cut costs on specs rather than simply being made to look uglier.
