i love it. It looks like the back is the same material as on the playbook which is perfect. If it feels as solid as the playbook does in the hand even better. Its about time RIM put out something like this.

Looks good to me. Looks like it's crazy thin, so I'm curious what kind of battery it's gonna be sporting. Definately MUCH more impressive than that ugly Porsche version they were demo'ing earlier..

Looks pretty slick IMO. Good to see a new device without the tired Bold and Curve form factor and look. Its also nice that's its all display and no dinosaurish keyboard taking up half the device. I might even be interested, gonna keep an eye out on this one.

Looks good... but not great. Could use some extra sexiness, but is slightly on the bland side.
Of course the image may not be doing it justice, so it could actually look better than what we're seeing.
It's still a step in the right direction.

I’m an all screen kind of guy. You only have so much real estate in regards to how big a phone can be, so i say maximize the usable surface area and make the front as much screen as you can.
I know BB10 requires bezel gestures, which I like on my playbook, but make the bezel as small as possible and incorporate the camera and speaker into the bezel. This way you get the entire front surface being 95% screen, 5% bezel.
Also, I don’t care for the top and bottom bits on this phone, they seem like wasted space.
Some of the new android phones coming out have pretty-much full front screens. I’m not saying RIM has to copy these, but when I see these Android designs I think to myself that my next phone better have more screen front surface area.
These are just my thoughts.
And as far as a BB phone, I exceedingly prefer this look to the all touch screen Torch. And if I were to buy a BB, it would be this one.

The shell looks nice, and thin. I really want to see the OS performance and screen/keyboard before I can offer an opinion compared with my really good Torch 9850. Hope we see one live, very soon.
Glad to see this information coming out, as long as it doesn't induce the Osbourne effect.

im curious, if they're keeping the bezel gestures from the PB, that phone looks a bit tall to reach with the thumb, from top to bottom. Maybe its just my eyes playing tricks on me. I'd like to see a physical device to really get an idea of where they're going with this.
But i do like the overall look. And if those claims about exceptional power and efficiency are true, this will surely be an interesting device.
Who thinks we'll see a BB10 phone at MWC now? Even if its just a demo version. Looks to me like they have the form factor down and aren't gonna change it (rightly so), so i see no reason why we wouldnt see a physical device pretty soon, even if it doesn't have a fully operational OS

I'm going to say meh on the design. Its not terrible, but i dont think its that good either. It does look ridiculously thin like my dude rickroller said. Im more interested in the software running it though. Cant wait to see what new they're doing with that

To me its seems to be a pretty boring looking phone but like my tweet to Kevin, I like that they seem to use the same similar shell as the PlayBook on this phone. I'm a huge fan of the feel of the PB in my hands and having it on my BB10 phone is a dream.
My one curiosity is camera, are they going to cheap out and give us a 5mp (back) and a 1mp (front) camera or are they going to go all out with an 8-10mp (back) and a 3mp (front) cameras on this and future devices.
Fixed!!!
