Clearer look at bb10 icons!

I like the icons better now. I didn't think I'd like the dark backdrop, but I actually do. It helps with legibility of course. Though some of us might think reworking the icons is very minor, it's difficult to find the right balance.

No prob, I agree its really to get it all to blend and work I think by launch the will perfect it and we will all be happy with the outcome

Getting there. However the app icons themselves (i.e. YouTube) need to be consistent with that of the black curved boxes. Or drop that black box altogether and you have a simpler and cleaner look. Also the colours on some apps (like music) need to be brighter not neon like.

I like 'em. Could be fancier, but they are easy to read and not an overpowering slap in the face like the previous box ones. Thing is, in real life, in HD, these are gonna pop!

I wonder if the final release of bb10 will feature the box around the icon, or if the icons will be 'free floating' like they are on the playbook.

latest videos of bb10 show the os to be absolutely gorgeous, and the attention to detail is amazing! for me the icons are not quite on par just yet.

Ahhh...voice control should be invokable at any time; it shouldn't be an app

Guessing they don't want to update the actually icon art till we get closer to launch, come on my fellow crackberrians (sounded funny in my head) we need to save at least SOME excitement for launch!
