Canadian Z10s on ATT/TMobile Network?
First, I would like to possibly buy a Z10 from eBay. It's most likely from Rogers or some other place, so I know it'll work with AT&T LTE/HSPA+.
However, if I leave to go to TMobile, will it work on HSPA+? I don't care about LTE. LTE drains the battery. I'm having trouble gathering the correct information for this.Current phone: Z10; I want Q10 ASAP!

z10 works nicely on tmobile. I have not compared speeds or anything but it downloads files so much faster than my 9900 i don't care. Great device but i will probably get a q10 once it ships on vzw. I am just using for data and an occasional call but it seems to work well even on a paygo plan.

I will save you a huge headache here.
I went through 4 eBay Z10's before I found out how to do this CORRECTLY.
There are 3 DIFFERENT Z10 models, all with DIFFERENT frequencies.
RFK121LW - I have this one, it doesn't get 4G speed with T-Mobile, had to return it to the eBay seller.
RFF91LW - I have this one, and it works 100% prefect with T-Mobile.
RFH121LW - I have TWO of these, doesn't get 4G speeds with T-Mobile, only EDGE. Seller doesn't accept returns, sold them both on eBay for the same price I purchased them for.
Ask the eBay seller to read the MODEL NUMBER ON THE BOX.
If you want T-Mobile to work 100% correctly with 4G speeds.
the model you need is: RFF91LW
however DO NOT ask the eBay seller if the model he/she has is the model # you are looking for.
They will say anything to sell you the phone.
Just simply ask for the model number.
Attached is a picture of my Z10's box.
Had it for 3 days, using T-Mobile, love it to death.
Didn't change a thing on my plan, all I did was ask for a mircoSIM card from T-Mobile, and thats it.Thanked by 3:Shanerredflag (02-17-2013), SWFLFFPM (02-19-2013), TheStoof (02-17-2013)

Actually, this is not correct. That model will only work in the areas where T-Mobile has deployed WCDMA / UMTS on the PCS 1900 spectrum in its yet-to-be-completed refarming. The RFF91LW model doesn't have UMTS bands for T-Mobile's native 3G/4G network that uses AWS 1700/2100 spectrum.

Your experience has been well received, RHDJEEZY. I was able to get RFF91LW for $740+$20 shipping. It is a Rogers phone, so I know it works with AT&T, and if Baltimore/Aberdeen has been refarmed for T-Mobile, then I'll get 3G/4G as well. At worst, I'll get stuck with EDGE...but I'm used to having EDGE at work because of my location.
I will have to pay less than half a benjamin to get it unlocked, but it'll be worth it
