Its from all retailers too. Telus, Bell/Virgin and wireless wave.

I've seen both Bell's "Breakup" Z10 ad on tv as well as BlackBerry's Keep Moving ad. Walmart is decked out with ads on the security gates and hanging in the electronics department. They also had a white and a black Z10 (running) with a Telus rep selling people on them. Telus seems the most into BB10 I've noticed. Rogers, Telus and the Source all have Z10s running for consumer trial.

Was at best buy in mississauga the other day, they are pushing it pretty hard too

Security scanner covers, running on tvs at checkout a big display with a full time person doing demos etc

My Z10 is a demo phone for ppl... I love showing the phone to others...

I've had many ppl from Android to iPhone who wanted to play with the phone... they were all impressed.

I show them how to get to the 'hub', then i show them the 'timeshift' camera.

most popular question i get is.... "where's the home button?" I show them the swiping, then they usually say, "that's cool"

On television BlackBerry is a sponsor of The Dragon's Den and through each episode advertisements for BlackBerry are aired. I can't say I have heard a single radio ad though.

Im hearing the radio spot for the Z10 on bell more now too. There is even a huge billboard crossing one of the bridges here in Halifax with Z10 on it.

Yeah the "Breakup" advertisement is rather humorous but if I remember correctly they used the same shtick for one of the Android smartphones for Bell.

I'm seeing/hearing ads for the Z10 everywhere I go in Toronto.

Also, I was on the Best Buy site today and noticed BB is conducting demo's at select stores over the next month

I haven't heard any Canadian radio ads, but I'm not that big a listener and often it is on stations with no ads. The pickup in TV advertising has been strong. I haven't seen any newsprint ads although that may be more of a function of it being considered a less relevant advertising medium. I have noticed the Z10 banner ads and ads on quite a few web pages as I surf the net.

Most interesting was to look at this week's Future Shop flyer. The Z10 is on the front page, Android on page 2 and iPhone on page 3. Click here

Best Buy also features the Z10 prominently on page 1 of its flyer: Click here

The Source (formerly Radio Shack) buried the ad on page 3 although since its in-store stock is still thin, maybe it doesn't matter to them: Click here

London Drugs (western Canada chain) put the Z10 prominently on its first page of its "High-Tech" flyer: Click here

I can't think of any other major Canadian retailer with periodic flyers that feature cell phones although some will point out their in-store kiosk. Three out of four major electronics retailers putting the Z10 on the first page does say a lot about the confidence they have that the Z10 is a winner.

This says a lot about the success in Canada of BB in getting the word out and retailers on board. I hope this success carries on to the eventual US launch.

don't listen to the radio much but i will say i've noticed the TV ads picking up as of late. i watched the basketball double header (MIA vs. OKC & LAL vs. LAC) last night on TSN and dare i say it.... almost got sick of all the blackberry ads playing every commercial break
