I got mine from ATT for $299 plus $100 gift card. Look at your account online as they did not do that in the store. Look up your account and click on upgrade phone and if you don't have a contract they give you an extra $100 credit towards the Bold.

Is this just for out of contract or for upgrade approved as well? I bought my current SGH A707 phone march 07 and would love to go to the Bold.

Here are all the deals I found on the Bold

Best Buy $249 (1 week ago) Upgrade and New 2 Year contract
    Etrade - $99 with 2 year Contract
Call in Customer Service - $249 for an upgrade. Not sure about New contracat price.

If you get it through ETrade, all you have to do is open an account. No minimum trades or anything. You dont have to go with the Unlimited ATT Plans although that is what will first show up. I selected the 450min plan, $30 BIS and $5 text messages, and was fine. Then I called The CS line given on the ETrade site, and I contrimed this with 3 different CSR's. One was willing to get me a little extra if I made the orde rwith him at that time.

I didnt pull the trigger though cuz the wife is being moved to VZN by her company. Waiting for the Bold on VZN or for VZN to give all customers the My Circle feature. TMI I know I Know

Now on an ATT note - I've decided to hold off on the bold altogether until I check out the 8900 because I think it's a little excessive that the bold is $399 for a new customer, and if you've noticed it's not a normal mail in rebate where you get a check back for $100 you get a visa gift card for $100 , so all in all you DID end up paying $399 for the phone, because that $100 will be spent one way or another (the only benefit is that you can use it to pay your bill, but I think the least ATT could do is let you be able to cash the $100 and do with it as you please) not to mention I think ATT data plans are ridiculously expensive ($60 a month *before* tax to have unlimited web/messaging?!)

Yes its a double post, but I just wanted to let people know that this is not the case if you go through ETrade.

Just ordered mine today through AT&T new 2 yr contract (with a corp discount) for $199, no mail in rebate - that's the price I paid. I am so happy to be dropping Sprint! AT&T has the best coverage in my area (Colorado high country) by far.

    Can't wait!

I'm assuming they went through their corp. list for the discount. Without revealing your job, how big is the company? I work for a regional airline that is associated with Delta and United airlines. I just might work that angle. Thanks for the pointers.

I work for a smaller company (75-100 ppl). We outsource to ADP for our benefits management and this discount was offered through ADP's employee portal site. That said, the site I used to order was AT&T Premier, and not direct through ADP (was a redirect from ADP's portal page). Make sense?

Kinda makes sense. Like if you were to order through the COSTO link that they offer. Unfortunatly we don't have anything like that through our company website (just verison, and only for the execs and admins). Thanks for the info as well.
