I saw Rim was hitting the highest talked about tech company on Bloomberg for a few days this week. Not sure where they get their data, but it was good to see. Come Jan 30th it should be explosive!!

If these folks posting their PINs on every post on the BlackBerry page want to talk to random strangers, there are plenty of chat rooms on the Internet suited for that purpose. They're pretty much spamming the page and between the PIN droppers and the BB haters, I have just about had it with the official BlackBerry page on Facebook.

the other day they wanted people to post BLACKBERRY 1 letter at a time to see if you could do it without being interupted. So thats 10 hits per person trying to do that.

N4BB made a good point: "You might have noticed that all BlackBerry Facebook pages have come under one roof. There are over 27 different region pages now interconnected via the main US page."

"This may be one cause for BlackBerry being this weeks People Talking About This top gainer. BlackBerry had*over 9.6 million stories published on users pages this week."

We have a saying in French, "Talk about me in good or talk about me in bad but do talk about me". It is publicity no matter how we look at it.

The blessed Oscar Wilde put it as elegantly as ever: 'There is only one thing in life worse than being talked about. And that is not being talked about.

Is this RIM's doing? Can they be generating this traffic. I think this is not random people posting things on their own. It is guerrilla marketing.

ooh RIM is doing it, like mention they were getting 10+ hits from everyone in the one post. They are very aware of getting their name in list for social media.

That is exactly whey BBM needs to add chat rooms local, city, worldwide, country watever it just makes sense not just limit us to select few but everyone on BBM.Woudl gain huge traffic and could take away traffic from twitter. The potential is there

But its good keep that BB10 talk up the minute instagram is known to be on BB10 people gonna flock back asap.

I saw that one. Pretty hard to accomplish without NFC in the phone.
There are more stupid remarks there, per topic, than I see here on CrackBerry in a week.
