Blackberry and Android continue their combined domination of the market
This is just a turn on todays announcement from IDC with regards to os percentages.
Even though android based phones have 68%, or four times the market share of iOS, the media is in the habit of joining Apples share (17%) with those of Android to show the world how " the two companies continued their combined domination of the overall market."
So to turn the story on its head:
Phones running on Android accounted for 68 percent of the global market, four times the 17 percent share held by Apple’s iPhone devices, according to a new report from research firm IDC. Blackberry is third with just over 5%. That adds up to a Blackberry-Android market share of 73 percent "as the two companies continued their combined domination of the overall market."
