Lol, I do remember that now. Too bad AT&T didn't really come out with a phone like that.

Yup the pluto, the touchscreen Bold with a full QWERTY keyboard. Suppose to be announced at WES 09.

Yep the Pluto seems to be a cool BB. But with the bold form factor i won't be getting one. Maybe i'll get the touchscreen 8900. Really looking forward the the blackberry slider though.
Device history: 8100 > 8320 > 9000 (brief) > 9530 (Ugh!) & 8900 > 8220 > 8120 > 8520 > 9550

What touchscreen 8900? They have a 3G 8900 called the "Magnum" 9220.

Ugh I keep forgetting about it having touchscreen. I just remember the 3G.

Guys! Look at the roadmap again.
Pluto is Bold form factor with touchscreen.
Magnum is curve II form factor (like 8900) with 3G NO touchscreen. But still not really confirmed other than that roadmap.

The form factor itself is a great idea. Now don't get me wrong, I love the trackball, but just think of touching to select the browser or a link on a web page. Or instead of scrolling to the email icon, simply touching it, all while having a full physical QWERTY keyboard. And best of all.... It's still a BlackBerry.

We should all just pay BB397 to send us some pics of his 9910
.
But seriously, its a phone like the Pluto which would convince me to switch from Verizon and suck it up on AT&T's pathetic coverage! What if there were no hypothetical questions? - 01-22-2009, 10:48 PM #24
I'm just glad I live in new york so I don't have to worry about the coverage because its full bars for 3G. Roadmap says 09 for pluto?
