It showed no hardware, voice sounded boring but i didn't hear exactly what he said. Ended on blue splash screen with blackberry logo, with website under. Short spot, maybe 10 secs.

What is davos other than a character in game of thrones?

There's a world economic forum in Davos. It's an extremely high level conference with global business leaders, politicians etc. In the world of blue chip conferences, this is bona fide blue chip! If BB10 is targeting business and government, I bet sponsorship there is money well spent.

Anyone saw the stapes logo before the add? Didn't know they also sold wireless phones.

Ads are back again today. They seem to be sponsoring things "people who do" might be looking up from their desk to see on CNBC.
Because in most offices (like mine) its on in the "background" with no sound, you want to do the things folks might want to see, also, the voice over isn't as important as the images. Nice commercial on all fronts showcasing some of the features of BB10, ends with a "sexy" picture of the back. - 01-16-2013, 08:26 AM #19
They just ran it again on CNBC, less than 30 minutes after the first run I saw this AM. OK - it looks more exciting second time around - or maybe that's just be getting more excited. I agree - love the sexy shadow shot of the back of the phone!
