curious how you will do this as I think BBM traffic has to go through the NOC? Will you have to buy a BBM license? Just asking not speaking from knowledge

I wouldn't believe anything this twitter account says. One of the tweets says that you won't need a BIS plan on bb10 which is untrue and that "BBM doesn't cost you any data charges because its on BB servers." lol wat?

Maybe it will work through BB desktop manager. Plug the phone into usb or blue tooth it and then it allows you to bbm on thecomputer. I wouldn't mind this at all. When I'm on my computer my phone is usually plugged in charging anyway.

BBID Synchronization –Switching between BlackBerry smartphones has never been simpler now that your BBM profile, Groups and Contacts are linked to your BBID.

its possible that with NFC you could use a tag to setup the BlueTooth connection, no wires just lay the phone down on the desk over the tag = everything automatic!

My guess is that it uses your active phone's PIN.

Good start now give me BBM chat rooms would be good to talk to BB users local and worldwide instead of select added few.BBM chat rooms would be great for big events like world cup ,elections and such come on RIM.

U speak the truth. It makes u wonder how pretty RIM could've been sitting had they brought these bbm features out years ago.

Still, I can't wait to see all these features on the 30th
QNX and LTE, hand me a pen and let's do this.

Keep in mind RIM has been able to send PIN messages from BES through the NOC to device for years now. It is not a stretch that they could do the same with BBM.
