I don't celebrate celebrities, and I never understood why so many do. Really hope BB gets their money's worth out of this particular adventure.

Alicia Keys is a PAID spokesperson.... PAID means they say what the company (RIM/BB) asked her to say, wither she believes it or not.
Do you really believe that she might not have another device as a backup (or primary)?? What is she suppose to do if she wants to look at pictures on Instagram or check out some recipe on Pinterest? Or wants to access her iTunes account without having a computer?

After hearing her complete and utter obliteration of the national anthem yesterday, I really wish bb had hired a different creative director.Ed

The reason this whole thing is sort of disappointing is not only because she works for BB now, but because on Jan. 30th at the launch, she said she was EXCLUSIVE with BB again. In RIM we trust!

Um, she should lose a few hundred $K in comp every time she does this. This is ridiculous...
One instance like this completely undercuts what RIM is trying to gain by hiring her as their celebrity sponsor. It's already been reported on NPR for crap's sake... And I'm pretty sure they never bothered to report the fact that she was appointed "Creative Director" in the first place.

It's bad 'optics', now I can see headlines 'Alicia key's Blackberry Z10 gets hacked', I don't know if that is actually possible or not.
Then again maybe the marketing ploy is to keep Alicia & the new Z10 in the news, good or bad, period.
