You can use those by sideloading those. If those are not available at blackberry world. I already do that at dev alpha. And those work.

You can sideload non-Java Android apps now? That's news to me...

See my signature. I also have flipboard installed. Pulse also. Social scope, kobo, Kindle, linkedin, twitter, Facebook, etc.

Thanks to android player that makes this easy. And guess, the keyboard still able to do prediction words as in native apps.

Default BB10 'great' apps at launch, likely not

    LOL, a bizillion apps!
The quality apps are not written for the BB platform.
The money is in Apple iPad /iPhone and Google Samsung/Galaxy-Androids
The maps-on-device, books-on-device, junk-on-device, calculators-on-device, ya da ya da, are filling the BB app pipeline.
Kids are proudly making multiple junk apps per weekend and submitting them for BB review.
What is really needed are quality apps built for other platforms and available to BB users!
Give me a dozen great apps and I will be happy.

All i see in your sig is a bunch of random phone models and hashtags. Should I be looking for something in particular? I want to know how you're able to run Android apps with native code on the Playbook. I know you can sideload Java apps, but was never aware that you can do it with native apps.

I don't know. Just try to side load those. And all are running well. Is tapatalk java apps? What about linkedin, Kindle, Google maps, flipboard, pulse, k9? I think those are native apps from android and all are running well.

I reply to you by using tapatalk that I side load to dev alpha, even I don't change the signature at tapatalk.

Those are all java apps. In the post by Falconee, you stated that "You can use those by sideloading those". At least 2 of the apps mentioned can not be side loaded because they are not Java apps.

You cannot load the Android version of Angry Birds onto the Playbook, you can buy a Blackberry version from app world though.
Don't waste your time with temple run, it's got native Android code and will not work on the Playbook.

Means that if we want to use android native apps (which use android apis), it will not work on BB10. Unless we can root it. Is it right?

No, even if you root the device, you still won't be able to run native Android apps. The Android runtime only supports select APIs used by java apps.
