Send location, BBM 5 and the Tour

Has anyone been able to send their location via BBM 5.0.0.33 on a Tour running on CDMA? From reading around I've seen a couple reports of send location working on Tours running on GSM but nothing so far for tours on CDMA. It worked fine for myself and my sister on BBM 4.7 and the leaked 5.0.0.8 but .33 seems to have killed the feature. GPS works on Google Maps, Poynt, etc. but BBM doesn't work.

Anyone else experiencing the same?

I'm on Sprint, and I just sent my location to a buddy. No problems.

Yes I saw that and even posted in that thread. From what I've read the problem seems to be localized to the Tour(VZW exclusively after the 57 update) so I thought I'd post in here to try to get a little more attention to the issue from tour owners. Sorry for the cross post. You can move it if you want.

Seem so. Have you tried sending the location from BlackBerry Maps to a BBM contact?

Did it work for you that way?

i get failed as well when i initiate from BBM. 9630/4.7.1.40

Yeah I can send if I initiate from BB Maps. But initiating from BBM always gets an error just before the "R" in the progress bar.

Stats: VZW 9630/4.7.1.57/BBM 5.0.0.33

*sending location worked for me on the leaked BBM 5.0.0.8
