Option> scroll to bottom and select save message history. I recommend to media card not on device.

Well I am on here because although I save the history ... after a month or so they disappear day by day, I'm saving it on my memory card but don't think they will never disappear because mine did.

What I do is take the .CSV and .OLD files I want to save and email them to myself every once in a while. Because yes, as the CSV file grows to a maximum size, it will spill over into a .OLD file, and when that fills up, messages will begin dropping off the end of it.

See this thread for how to use the CSV and OLD files once they are on your computer: http://forums.crackberry.com/f152/bb...-using-424307/

Just email it to yourself. There is a email chat option when you are in the chat and click the bb button.

i have the option to save bbm messages to my media card enabled but what's the next step? my messages are still disappearing every day or two, at least with the person i bbm w/ the most. are these chats still being saved on the media card even tho they're not showing up in our history? if so, where?
