Restore BBM7 contacts?

I keep having this problem whenever I try to download and install BBM7 my contacts are gone and never seem to be restarted after trying many solutions. Is there a way to restore them actually? I really need help with this.

They restore when you log in to your BBID (or should).

When you reboot from install, you paste in the security code when you open BBM, then it prompts you to sign in to BBID.

I tried that and logged into BBID and still nothing.

It's not even restoring my contacts at all. The only solution I had to do was uninstall it and download the BBM 6 and it worked fine.

I couldn't find anything listing someone with the same issue in Beta Zone. Only thing I could find even close all points to BBID needing updated. You can try that. I know I was prompted to update BBID after the first BBM beta install. Download BBM beta again, then after the reboot, try Options->BBID->menu->Check for Updates.

BBID was already updated when I had it installed so I don't think this was the problem. It was updated even while I was on BBM6. Still can't get it to work.
