Quick BBM question

If you send a message to a BBM contact and then remove them from your contacts do they still get the message you sent? I know with the old version of bbm if you removed a contact it would also remove you from their contact list and they wouldnt get the message. Just wondering if it's the same in BBM5

I've got 2 blackberries running both bbm 5 and I jus tried this. I sent a test msg to my bbm and it received it on the other end. Soon as I deleted the contact on this phone the chat and my contact on the other phone disappeared. Hope that helps.
