problems with new bbm, someone help?
Everyone I know has been raving about the new bbm but my blackberry app world shows no update.
Instead I have got the information for the new bbm but no available update.
I was looking at the blackberry website and it says that it might be that my device software isn't updated,
I checked and I'm 4.6, any ideas how to
a) get bbm
b) update my device software?
Sorry if this is a dumb question I am not technalogically gifted...

Assuming there is an updated BBM for you, app world gets messed up sometimes. Clearing the cache with alt-RST often turns it around.
Do that key combination in app world. App world will close shortly after. Just wait. After it closes, launch it again and refresh your application list. The upgrade likely will show now.
Also, you can point your BlackBerry browser to blackberry.com/messenger and download from there.

what do you mean by "...everyones bbm will soon dissapear."?
what happens with my 9550 is that it wont show updates if i go to my app list but i click on the app it self it will, most of the time, show if there is an update. A batter pull helps too.Back from the depths!!!

The new blackberry messenger problem
I download the new blackberry messenger on my phone
( 9900/18.104.22.1684 )
I download the 7.1 version
When I download it they ask me to connect with WI-FI
So I can use the blackberry messenger voice call
And iam already connected with WI-FI
I download it before 2 days and I always close WI-FI and connect
But it dissent work
( You voice chat connection cannot be established )
Can you please help me and my app world is already updated
By alt+RST or whatever idont remember.
Help me please ...

If I am not understanding your question, I apologize. BBM Voice will only work if both parties have the app and both are connected to a wi-fi signal. I believe you received the message "( You voice chat connection cannot be established )" because the other party you wanted to connect to either didn't have the app or wasn't connected to wi-fi at the time. I told you that I download the app but my friend told me that when you'r connecting to a wi-fi
The red signal ( voice call ) will move and then that's mean you'r connecting to a wi-fi
But iam connecting and the red signal won't move !!!!!!!!
I told u I can't call
I didn't told u my friends can't call me that's the problem
