new bbm msgs not showing in messages homescreen

not sure if there's a setting.

but it just changed on me.

i've tried wiping and re-installing the os.

i used to get a notification in my homescreen in the 'messages' icon when i get a new bbm message.

however, it's stopped! no notification on 'messages' icon but there is for bbm icon.

pls help!

Go into your inbox, Options>>Message Display and Actions>> Make sure 'Display New Message Indicator' is checked.

I've never got a notification on my messages icon whenever i get a BBM..

i've got display new message indicator checked already.

it's weird because group messages will have the notification icon, but individual bbm msgs will not. the msgs still show up 'new' when i open 'messages' though.

i've always had it show up in the messages, but it recently stopped... i know someone else who told me that they never had the new bbm msg notification as well...

i'm confused!
