MY BBM is GONE ~~ WHAT TO DO??

HELLO

I INSTALLED THE NEW BBM 5 AND WHEN I REBOOTED MY BB, THE BBM ICON WAS GONE

....I STILL HAVE THE SOFTWARE IN THE APPLICATIONS LIST !!! HOW CAN I RESTORE MY BBM???

I NEED HELP.. I WANT TO CRY

First off, give your caps lock key a break.

You need to have at least OS 4.5.0.131 on your BB or the BBM icon does a disappearing act like yours did.

If you really want BBM 5.0 go here - http://forums.crackberry.com/f52/new...t-asia-272093/ - and upgrade your OS. With the 8320 you must be running os 4.5.0.81 or above for BBM 5.0.

no i dont want the bbm 5.. i want the old version back,... how can i upgrade the os?

By following the second link I posted. It contains the directions on how to do an upgrade.

If you don't want BBM 5.0, you can just follow the directions from the first link to get the old version of BBM back.

This link will let u downgrade back to your older bbm version quickly. Delete the previous bbm in ur apps then go to this link

My BBM icon did a dissapearing act after downloading BBM 5.0 OTA. I am using the 9630 Tour, so my software is current (4.7.1.40). I went back to an older BBM version until I figure out where the icon went. Does anyone have a solution/fix?
