    Default messenger question

I don't think its possible, but I'd figure to ask anyway,

Is there a way to hide the status updates of a contact on messenger?

My recent exwife feels the need to post things about her new love on them. I don't want to delete the contact cause its a reliable form of communication when it comes to our daughters. I just want to hide or block it.

according to the original post, he asked.....

"Is there a way to hide the status updates of a contact on messenger?"

therefore, my answer is correct. he asked to just hide her updates, not everyones.

You can change the updates to none but you can't change it for just one particular person. Its all or none.

If it's that annoying and I imagine it is, you could delete her contact and use sms text as a reliable form of communication. BBM is great but sometimes texting works as well.
