Has BBM turned into sex chat?

Why are all the app reviewers on "Blackberry App World" looking for a sex chat? Seems like every review is like "Great app for photo lovers - BBM 23AD391 looking for emo boys"

"Fun app, kills time - 21/f/ca hot boys with sixpacks only"

I haven't used a Blackberry as my main device in ages, so I popped a SIM into this hacked 9700 and checked out app world and it's full of this..

Yeah it really is getting bad. I assume the bulk of them are from people who don't go to CB site where they could post their pins and sexual preferences in the social forums. So they spam app world instead hehehe !!!

It's happened to many IM programs. Kik, Live Profile, iGotChat, etc.

its happening to all the texting/sms/im programs because they arent giving out their number so they think its safer.....but its terrible smh

LoL, you did not need to go through the trouble of using a hacked Blackberry and putting a SIM. Just go to the web APP world

Everything has gone that way it seems. I was playing on line games on my Torch like connect 4 and battleship. I quit cause all the thrash. I know you can turn the chat off but I like to say good game or didcha see that etc etc. I went into the social forum and couldn't believe my eyes.

Well I still think you trully don't know who your talking to, a male could be posing as a woman and have pics of a woman and voice versa.. So you could be getting someone off that isn't who think they are.. Just a thought.. Happened to a male friend of mine, he met a lady who turned out to be a man!

Someone should create a pin that sends them a permenant virus that's sends a none stop message telling them t "get a life you horny b@st@rds". That'll teach em. I would if I still had my old bb (9000) and used it for that.

I am meeting someone in the summer for the first time, however I have been friends with them for 5+ years, we've used MSN video chat and stuff. We've texted and called each other. I'm pretty safe on my bets that this is a genuine person. True, there is still the chance they could have been an expert spoofer, but I think with all the internet stuff we've done that has let us see and hear each other, then it is a risk I am willing to take.

yeah to me i think that's different because you're not just 'cyber chatting' well i don't think you are if you've been frieands for 5+ years! what this thread means random strangers offering their pins out for quite plainly. 'sex chat' as they REQUEST that they speak to 'muscly guy' etc.

And yes, it is unreal, but I accept it as there isn't ish I can do to change it...

Oh really? You don't find out someone is a Stage 5 Clinger....until AFTER they start clinging. Lol. Good luck. Start thinking of a new namé for yourself. You may have to change it this summer.

That's why I stopped posting my pin because even though I put I'm marriad and just looking for friends, I still got those guys trying to hit on me or just trying to talk dirty.
