Block People on BBM?

I was reading (and searched, can't find) that some how or way (maybe firewall) settings that you can block people or messages on bbm??? Anyone know about or how 2 do this?

You either delete the contact or stop all PIN messages at once. To stop all PIN messages, go to Options >Security Options >Firewall...

Yeah can't I just block certain ppl??? I thought u could sometimes don't want 2 block every1

I don't understand what you mean by blocking certain people.
If they're not in your messenger list they cant BBM you and vice versa.

Deleting the contact is the only to block them it seems.

No I get what was being said... I was wondering if u wanted to just block out a person not delete them... Anyhow doesn't matter I know how 2 block em all now.... Ita good if I feel like being "do not disturbed"

Hey AaronJP a good way to not get a ton of PIN messages is to not put it up on your profile. It has been advised many times to not put your pin up here on crackberry. I have heard horror stories about people from other countries that will PIN you at all times of the day and night with advertisements.

If you could block them it would be nicer than deleting them. Atleast if you're ignoring them they won't know it. If you delete them they know it.

So what is the way to block certain contacts from bbm, without deleting them completely from your contacts?
I tried the option followed by security and then firewall and i don't get it.

You can't "block" people in BBM if they are in your BBM Contacts.

Delete them if you don't want them to be able to contact you. Or if you don't want to delete them, ignore or delete their messages.

Note the the "Firewall" noted near the top only blocks PIN messages. It does not block BBM.
