Do you know what OS version is on the device. The best and most reliable way is to use Desktop manager to put BBM back on the device. To find out waht OS you have. on your device go to options/about and its the third line down. Post this back here if you need more help.

Ok so your running the tmo us OS on the device. With it being unlocked you cant download that os from TMO directly. Go here and download the last one in the list. 4shared - free file sharing and storage - share folder - OS and DM Files
When its done double left click it to intsall it to your pc. You will need desktop manager..I recommend 4.6 without media manager. If you dont have it get it here https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...93E4F3BB068C22
Once you have them both go to C:/program files/common files/research in motion/app loader. Scroll all the way to the bottom and delete the vendor.xml file.
Now start desktop manager and go to applications loader. A list will show up on the left...just make sure there are checks in the boxes for the apps you want. Follow the prompts to completion.
Its not hard. Install the OS i linked you to then run the applications loader. Five minutes. Delete the vendor file if the appp loader shows no applications for your device. Feel free to pin me or PM me if you need more help.
