Is the BBM button on the 9220 the same as a convenience key, ie. it opens BBM? I think it would be awesome if it was a SHARE to BBM button. Example: Looking through pics,hit the button and it asks which bbm contact to share current pic to, browsing online hit the button and choose who to send URL to, etc.

Anyone confirm what it does?

It's not a BBM button. It's called the bb button. You can hold it to change open apps quickly and also just pushing brings up different option depending on what app you're in which can and does include send........

The button on right side of screen says BBM. Product lit talks about "dedicated bbm button"

Are you talking about the menu button on the front of every blackberry? If so, I hope you will be relieved to know that I know the function of that button LOL

I'm pretty sure it's just a convenience key that is preprogrammed to BBM
