    Does anyone know if BBM works abroad? (More specifically in Turkey)

    It depends on yr network provider, but yes absolutely.

    The only visited country where BBM is not working is Iran... overthere no data plan is available... unless you find a wifi hotspot (ie the aiport has free wifi connection available), in that case it works.

    I'm on o2 payg. I've had some mates go to Spain and BBM worked more or less for free. They didn't get charged for any data and they were only on the £6 blackberry bolt on. Just curious if anyone has used BBM in Turkey and knows. Either way I think it will be alot cheaper than texts and calls home.
