Bbm 6 out in beta zone!

Did this fix the dam alerts going off WHILE you are actively talking in a group chat, which is plaguing BBM 5.0.1 and 5.0.2

When I open BBM I cant see anything but my name and picture at the top of the screen. I cant see contacts, Groups, or updates. I can search for the contact I want to communicate with and then I can commuicate. But if I go to the home screen I cant see anything.
Any ideas?
I have uninstalled, re-installed, went back to my previous OS and back. Nothing works.
I have the 9550 / 5.0.0.1015

Only happened when I rebooted after installing or removing something. Rolled back to 9550/5.0.0.517 on the advice of howarmat. Don't know for sure if that helped cuz I did that yesterday and upgraded bbm today. But you were not alone hehehehehehe.

Just preformance and it change what invitations say. Before it was "invite contact" now it has the "BBM" added to the line. On both contact and group. If rim conciders this a full 1.0 upgrade... We are in trouble. Don't get me started on os 7...

In BBM, hit the Blackberry button, go to Options and scroll down to the last category - "Miscellaneous." De-select all of those, then exit out of Options, back to the main BBM screen. That worked on my 9550, although I have no idea why. (You can go back and re-select the options after without a problem.)
I'm not sure how I stumbled on this "fix." I think it's a problem with .1015 - I never had it happen with the earlier builds.

icons are a bit more refined (add a BBM contact & Adding/scanning for BBM groups) other than that, just a whole lot faster!
and this is the description it gives for update:
- Visual distinction of message drafts vs. sent messages
- Any alerts set for SMS contacts are now preserved in BBM once an SMS contact is integrated with BBM
- Invite a Text Messaging Contact -- it's now easier to search contacts
- Location Search -- you can now search for a location before sending, similar to the Location Search experience via SMS
- Location Sending -- you can now detect your location with cell tower triangulation or GPS

Dear guys, as you all may have noticed there is not much of a distinction with the new BBM6 as compared to BBM5 itself. Well I am a part of a BBM Beta Group where we discuss the ongoing problems and issues, as of now BBM 6.0.0.73 has a few minor issues like scrolling sometimes gets stuck for a couple of seconds, when you send a msg it does not directly appear in the box, and sometimes a previous msg appears automatically when you send a msg but when you close and reopen the same chat it goes back to normal. These are the few issues I have experienced and reported, other issues could be reported here if you like and I could take them ahead. Remember, this is a beta so obviously there will be some issues and teething problems, but overall there are a lot of plus points to look at as well. I personally enjoy the faster loading chat amongst other things.
All in all hope that a newer better version is launched sooner than later, and I look forward to hearing from anyone regarding their issues.Stand for something or you will fall for anything!!!!
