Exclamation BBM 6 + BlackBerry Torch = Bad Combination?

I can't be sure, but when I downloaded the new BBM 6 from the app world tonight after work, I'm pretty sure it screwed up my phone badly. It went into the cyclical reboot and I had to reload (and subsequently upgraded to the latest multilanguage one on the RIM website for my carrier AT&T) my OS and after another battery pull or 2, it finally started up.

Did this happen to anyone else? Do I dare touch BBM 6 again?

I've been running .600(latest official OS from ATT) since it was leaked a few months back. Was also running bbm 6.0.0.115(i think) from beta zone with no issues. Upgraded to to the latest official version of BBM6 with 0 issues.

I've been running 600 since it was leaked, BBM updated just fine for me. Haven't experienced your issue yet.

I had tried a leaked .115 version a few weeks ago and now updated to official BBM 6 version. I am running OS .600.
    Never had a single issue..

My guess is a bad install..

I hate it and I want the old version back. I had .111 before I got .125. I can't see who's playing music anymore, and I love that feature.

I'm running a .600 hybrid (with a lot of BB7 cods) and BBM6 works very well.

I don't remember what I was running before but in fixing my phone, I upgraded myself to .600 and am running it now, but I am understandably hesitant to try to upgrade to BBM6 again.

I completely agree. Ive had the latest bbm downloaded and since i got it, my torch has been freezing on startup sountless times. Im not sure what it is but i know its bbm because as soon as i updated it after a wipe, the problem started up again.
