Just hit next. Got the same thing on my Tour and on my wife's Curve. It loads just fine. It's way better than the previous version and waaay waaay better than the Curve's previous version.

Think Show in Homescreen is a 5.0 option that will work when 5.0 device software is rolled out.

Yea I went digging for it just now. Apparently when OS 5.0 is out, you can hit 'show in homescreen' for a contact to have an icon appear in Home for said contact.

10 chars is the minimum amount of characters you have to have to make a post

Its working great on my Tour! I've heard that MMS and SMS will all be through Blackberry Messenger in OS5, and that you select which way you want to send you messege by default (like on the Palm Pre). This true? Because that would be saweeeet!

Desktop Manger install application loader didn't work for me. Fought with it for a while and couldn't figure out why it wasn't finding any new applications designed for my device.

Then I thought just to try the app loader and it picked it up 1-2-3.
Installing now so I have my fingers crossed hopefully the update works

Edit: It works and it looks awesome so far

the java folder trick worked for me. I didn't add it to the first folder though, just java. this is LOVELY...

If you got the BBM 5.0 files from BlackBerryOS, there are clear instructions on how to install it via DM. Make sure you download the right version for the device you have. 99.99% of the people here should NOT be downloading the 5.0 or 5.1 files. Tour owners should get the Tour link, Storm owners get the Storm link, etc. Those 5.0 and 5.1 files at the bottom are not what you are looking for.

Followed the directions to the t and still not working. Downloaded the one for version 4.7.1
